Posture Correction:
Good posture helps us stand, walk, sit and lie in positions that place the least amount of tension on our spine. With poor posture the supporting muscles and ligaments fatigue during movement and weight bearing activities. Correct posture helps us keep spinal joints functioning normally so that our muscles are used correctly and efficiently. Good posture also decreases the abnormal wearing of joint surfaces that could result in degenerative arthritis and joint pain. Finally, correct posture also reduces the stress on the ligaments holding the spinal joints together thereby reducing the risk of injury.
