About James A. Thatcher, D.C.
James
A. Thatcher, B.S., D.C. has earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in cellular biology from the University of Kansas and a Doctor
of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. After
entering
private practice, Dr. Thatcher completed a postgraduate, 2-year
orthopedics program giving him 10 years of formal education.
In
July of 1999, Dr. Thatcher was appointed by Governor Bill Owens
to the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners where he will
fulfill
a four-year term. Dr. Thatcher was appointed once again in 2003
to another four-year term by Governor Owens. He and four other
members of the Board are responsible for the
regulation
of
approximately
2,200
chiropractic
licenses statewide. Dr. Thatcher has practiced full time in Colorado
Springs since 1992.
