James Thatcher, ChiropractorJames A. Thatcher, B.S., D.C. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular biology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.  Dr. Thatcher has earned board certifications in physiotherapy and acupuncture.  After entering private practice, Dr. Thatcher completed a postgraduate, 2-year orthopedics program.  In July of 1999, Dr. Thatcher was appointed by Governor Bill Owens to the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners for a four-year term. Dr. Thatcher was appointed again in 2003 to another four-year term by Governor Owens. He and four other members of the Board were responsible for the regulation of about 2,200 chiropractic licenses statewide. Dr. Thatcher has maintained a full time practice in Colorado Springs since 1992 and provides treatment for whiplash injury, sciatica, pinched nerves, neck pain and herniated disks.  Dr. Thatcher was certified in Dry Needle Technique in 2011.
